How to end Ankle Pain
Hi, I’m Byron Harold with Muscle Mechanics LTM and I’m here to talk to you about ankle pain.
Ending your ankle pain isn’t done in one move, or one session. Ending your ankle pain STARTS with understanding why your in pain and how to solve the PROBLEM that is creating your pain.
There are a lot of things that can cause ankle pain, from a simple sprain to a more serious injury. But no matter what the cause, there are things you can do to help ease the pain.
One of the best things you can do is to keep your ankle moving with Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) This helps to prevent stiffness and will keep the blood flowing to the area, which can help to reduce swelling.
Secondly start doing Progressive/Regressive Angular Isometric Loads (PAILS/RAILS) to improve the functioning of your ankle from suboptimal to optimal.
CARs need to be done daily in order to maintain joint movement (articulation) decreasing stiffness, and risk of injury.
PAILS/RAILS improves joint capacity with increased neuromuscular strength providing you the path to solving ankle pain.
If you cannot articulate your ankle then YES could be a definite correlation to your ankle pain especially if it’s chronic pain.
Joints that don’t articulate will learn to become stiff and stiffness creates limitations and restrictions.
That simple!
